Warwick mission. Well I am on my way home. We had a good day today – the students were still up early enough for an 8am breakfast and prayer meeting. There were lots of encouraging stories about students who had invited their coursemates to come to events and they had come! Lots of non-christians commenting on how friendly and accessible the events had been. It was really encouraging to see how engaged the CU had been. The Warwick University Christian Union Mission week kicked off tonight with a special service at St John’s church in Westwood. There were about 150 students out tonight for prayer, and an encouragement to mission from me. I tried to encourage the CU that being involved in God’s mission is what they were saved for, the key to their spiritual growth and the best way to be Christlike.
